I read, I report and, at the same time, I stay. I don’t know how to define the situation that has arisen.
“In view of the conclusion of an important transition and restructuring phase also characterized by the positive management of the composition procedure expiring on 31 December 2024, Casinò de la Vallèe Spa is in need of planning the new operational and economic development. In this context, the strengthening of the organization, also with the inclusion or enhancement of management personnel, is an essential condition for success”.
These are the reasons that pushed the St. Vincent Casino to issue a notice of search for a company, association of professionals or professionals who will be responsible for the selection of personnel, a position for which you can apply by August 31st. The role will start from the assignment and expire on 31 December 2025, renewable for another year.

The search, we read in the notice, “has the aim of identifying the partner on the basis of qualitative and economic criteria, and to this end it is important that the candidates present the methodologies used for the search and selection of personnel and the methods of defining the financial compensation for the activity carried out”.
Obviously, the notice also specifies that the successful tenderer of the service “in coordination and collaboration with the company management, with the support of the company’s personnel offices, will provide, upon request, its consultancy for the search and selection of qualified or managerial personnel”.
Has the management future of the gaming house been defined? In what way and by whom?

Or, perhaps we are looking for someone who could evaluate the offers in the case of management entrusted to a privately held company?
How can you think that managers and executives, in a management methodology like the one mentioned, can they be identified by someone other than the employer?
The only solution that seems impossible to me is the first! Clearly those who read my questions will have understood the reason for my amazement.
Yet, upon closer inspection, it seems that very little use is made of the relationship entrusted to Finaosta or Ernest & Yung by the first person in charge, at least at the moment.
Despite the invitation to the competent commission by a minority councilor, everything is silent but, as far as I know, it seems that it was discussed in the council.

For my part and in my own small way, using the data in my possession, I have developed a series of tables covering different years regarding net revenues, attendance, the national market and market shares. I tried to be useful to anyone who would like to have other elements to know about a problem that should enjoy some interest, most likely not like it used to be.
I also modestly tried to examine the possible alternatives to the current situation, concluding with what I notoriously prefer, also in light of the considerable demands for the necessary investments according to the sole administrator.

In fact I do not deny that I believe the best solution is to entrust the management to a privately held company partly because of my past experience from September 1959 until June 1994, partly because of the firm belief that in an activity such as the one in question the timing of politics – and the problem in question seems appropriate to me – does not seem at all adequate for rapid decisions.
I examined the possibility of a mixed management form with a private majority in use in other European states; the previous observation led me, ultimately, not to consider it.
Which is the most relevant benefit for the public body that owns it? The greater time to dedicate to the control it has over the gaming house which, certainly, would commit the Region less than currently and could dedicate it to the solution of problems of the population which often require a considerable commitment.
