Foggia, Ipercoop reopens after a radical restyling

Today the hypercoop in Foggia is completely renovated. Thanks to the commitment of Coop Alleanza 3.0, the point of sale inside the Mongolfiera shopping center – an important presence for the Cooperative and a point of reference for the territory – can now serve the over 31 thousand members of Foggia and all consumers in a more complete and modern way. The renovation works were carried out while the store was open thanks also to the commitment of the over 150 workers working at the store.

Coop Alleanza 3.0 invested around 4 million euros in the restyling of the store.

The Deputy Mayor, Lucia Aprile, and the Commercial Director of Coop Alleanza 3.0, Franco Buluggiu, took part in the inaugural ceremony. Furthermore, for the local institutions present, the Budget Councilor of the Puglia Region, Raffaele Piemontese, and the Municipal Budget Councilor, Davide Emanuele. For Legacoop Puglia, the President, Carmelo Rollo, was present at today’s meeting.

Ipercoop Foggia: the food offer focuses on the territory

In the newly renovated hypercoop – 7,100 square meters large – customers will find an intuitive and functional arrangement of products, a complete offer, ideal for daily and weekly shopping with particular attention to local producers. Attention that is particularly evident in the fruit and vegetable square, where there are green pointers with the words “Local product”, which indicate the products of the land of Apulian and Foggia origin.

During the shopping journey, the point of sale features the completely renovated assisted deli counter, where expert gastronomes recommend local and national excellences of cured meats and cheeses; furthermore, cured meats and dairy products are also available in the new counter dedicated to take-away packages. At the dedicated assisted counter, the Ipercoop bakers bake bread, pizzas, focaccias and panzerotti, so as to complete the available offer of externally produced bakeries and pastries from local and national suppliers. Inside the gastronomy island, there will also be rotisserie products and spit-roasted chickens with assisted sales. Among the innovations arriving with the restyling is the new refreshment point with seating to taste the culinary and rotisserie specialties.

The butcher’s department allows us to satisfy the needs of all customers, both those who have the desire and time to cook, thanks to the choice of different cuts of meat, including organic ones, and those looking for “ready to cook” and “ready to taste”. ”. The offer of the fresh departments is completed by the fishmonger’s department, with a completely renovated served counter. Also available to members and consumers is the wine cellar which gives particular emphasis to local wine production, as well as the area dedicated to frozen products.

The news from the non-food departments: “Giocheria” and “Expert In”

To complete the Ipercoop offer, there are the new “Giocheria” and “EXPERT IN” corners, both within the sales area. In the “Giocheria” space, members and consumers will find a vast selection of quality products and exclusive items: from action figures of the most loved characters from films and cartoons, to playsets, construction games and items to be used outdoors. .

The renovated hypercoop also features the Health and Wellbeing Area, where customers can count on the professionalism of pharmacists ready to offer support and advice to choose from over 2,000 products, including non-prescription drugs and parapharmaceuticals, including those under the Coop brand . The space also hosts vast areas dedicated to the so-called “emerging needs”: ranging from personal care products, to health foods – in particular gluten-free foods, food supplements -, from cosmetics and articles dedicated to well-being up to diagnostic products and orthopedic and early childhood products.

Customers will also find the department dedicated to clothing for babies, children and adults: its clothing collections will be present in the assortment of the corner in collaboration with Upim, a historic Italian brand in the sector. In the Ipercoop there is also renewed space for the offer for four-legged friends with the “Amici di casa Coop” corner with dedicated staff and cash desk, characterized by a vast specialized offer of products for pets. You can find an assortment of around 4,000 items, with particular attention to puppy foods, natural foods and diets indicated in the treatment of the main pathologies of dogs and cats.

With the restyling, the Home department was also renewed with a vast range of Coop brand products, including tools and textiles. There is also space for books with the renewed corner “Books chosen for Coop Alleanza 3.0 by Librerie.coop” a real library made up of 15 thousand titles. Furthermore, near the Listening Point there is a kiosk, the immediate printing service in various formats of photographs from a mobile phone or USB stick. To complete the services offered by the hypercoop, Ottica Coop offers a vast assortment of glasses, with the help of professional opticians with a view into the gallery as well as the Jewelery and Footwear corners.
