LECCE – In the garden of the Augustinian Complex in via Michele De Pietro 10 in Lecce, the series of concerts promoted by the Caffetteria OgniBene continues, in collaboration with the Library, the Municipality of Lecce and the Council of students of the Tito Schipa Conservatory of Music of Lecce, edited by Raffaella Roccasecca. On Friday 28 June (9.30 pm – free entry) a group of students from the Pop-Rock Schools of the Tito Schipa Conservatory of Music in Lecce will propose “Rock history”. The setlist includes songs by Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Gun’s Roses, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Green Day: the history of rock from its dawn to the present day. Each song is an opportunity for an immersion in the most characteristic sounds, timbres, harmonies and arrangements (all original), such as distorted guitars, keyboards and Hammond organ timbres. On stage Gabriele Caforio, Arturo Pedone, Raffaella Roccasecca (vocals), Luigi Russo (keyboards and arrangements), Samira Avantaggiato (keyboards), Giulio Bianco (wind instruments and arrangements), Domenico Stricchiola (guitar and arrangements), Alessio Gaballo (electric bass) , Tony Lupo and Francesco Vaglio (drums). Last two performances in July with “Giardini Barocchi”, a tribute to the baroque historic center of the Salento capital with some compositions by Georg Philipp Telemann, Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach (Friday 12) and a final party with Rock in opera, meeting between the classical and symphonic music and rock (Wednesday 24th).
