In Mazara del Vallo, on the occasion of the final events of the parish Grest,
the Municipal Police command has issued an ordinance for the day of Thursday 27 June 2024 only, banning transit and stopping in the entire Piazza Cristo Re from 2.30 pm to 11.00 pm, and in any case until the end of the requirements . This measure was taken to ensure the safe carrying out of activities.
On Friday 28 June at 7.00 pm, at the Civic Center in Corso Vittorio Veneto, the book “Amunì Let’s go. If you don’t know how to say it, say it in Sicilian” published by Giunti will be presented. The author, Giacomo Moceri, will be present to talk about his work during a cultural event organized by the Mag Libri bookshop in Mazara, with the patronage of the Municipality.
On the evening of Friday 28 June, starting from 9.00 pm, “Dancing under the stars 2024” will be held in Piazza della Repubblica. This dance-show event is organized by the Rudy Valentino association with the patronage of the Municipality.
On Saturday 29th June, starting at 8.30pm, a sports dance show will take place in Piazza della Repubblica, organised by the Matos Dance association, with the patronage of the Municipality.
The “two days” of the 24th City of Mazara del Vallo Vintage Motorcycle Rally will begin on the morning of Saturday 29 June in Piazza della Repubblica, with the philatelic cancellation by Poste Italiane dedicated to vintage motorcycles. The event, coordinated by Maurizio Ferro and sponsored by the Municipality, is organized by the Lambretta Club Sicilia association in collaboration with the social promotion association Il Sostegno. The highlight of the gathering will be Sunday 30 June, from 9 am to 1 pm, again in Piazza della Repubblica. Around 150 vehicles will parade through the city streets and then reach Torretta Granitola.
Sunday, June 30, from 9:00 p.m., the Jesuit College in Piazza Plebiscito will host the show “Music is life 2024”. The event is promoted by the cooperative society “Il Tricheco” of Mazara del Vallo, chaired by Paolo Tedesco, in collaboration with the cultural association “Giuseppe Crescente” and the association “Movimento per la vita”, with the patronage of the Municipality.
