TRENT. Sexual harassment of his 11 year old cousin. Yesterday afternoon, personnel from the Trento mobile squad, together with personnel from the equivalent office in Verona, executed the precautionary measure of custody in prison, issued by the Court of Trento – GIP Office – against a 19 year old Cameroonian citizenbecause he is under investigation for the crime of sexual acts with a minor.
The investigations have begun last Mayfollowing the report received from the emergency room medical staff of the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento. In that case it was reported to the police that an 11-year-old girl had been accompanied by her father and her partner to undergo a medical examination for investigations regarding dubious conduct carried out by the cousin at the home of residence.
Fortunately, the check did not reveal any type of physical violence. However, the investigations and hearings delegated by the local prosecutor’s office made it possible to bring this to light two episodes, not far apart in time, in which the suspect had nevertheless indulged in sexual effusions towards her little cousin. In the last episode his action was interruptedjust because surprised while he was in the room with her.
Given the circumstantial framework, but above all the seriousness of the fact because it was committed to the detriment of a child under 14 years of age, the precautionary measure was ordered. With no criminal record, no fixed abode, after the in-depth investigations carried out by the men of the Trento Flying Squad the subject was tracked down in Verona and taken to the “Montorio” prison.
