TRIESTE On the occasion of the G7 Forum which will be held in Trieste from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 June 2024, the Port Authority – Coast Guard of Trieste, at the disposal of the Trieste Police Headquarters and for reasons of public order, issued Ordinance no. 47/2024 with which temporary navigation bans were adopted in the port areas, in the harbor of Trieste and in the stretch of sea in front of the protected marine area of Miramare to guarantee the regularity of the event.
On these days, from 12pm on 27 June to 5pm on 29 June 2024, in the waters of the San Giorgio basin – San Giusto basin – San Marco basin and Sacchet, navigation by any naval unit is prohibited, without prejudice to specific exemptions indicated in the same order.

In particular, from 4pm to 9pm on 27 June 2024, no movement of pleasure craft or any other type of vessel will be permitted in the Sacchetta basin.
In the aforementioned areas, there is also a ban on carrying out any further surface or underwater activity. Likewise, from 6pm to 11.59pm on 27 June in the body of water in front of the Marine Protected Area of Miramare, including the integral reserve area and part of the so-called buffer zone referred to in Article 2 of Ordinance no. 28/98 dated 5 November 1998 and n. 44/2014 dated 28 October 2014, in addition to the bans already in place, navigation and any other surface and underwater activity are prohibited.
