Carpi completes the youth sector chain, which will have seven men’s and three women’s Sport teams

The Carpi youth sector starts again with Gianni Pellacani in command and a complete chain of teams, from Primavera 4 up to Pulcini. A movement that will count on seven formations managed directly or in collaboration with Cabassi in addition to the three female formations in collaboration with Limidi.

“Entrusting Pellacani with the management of the youth sector was a natural choice for what he has done in recent years – explains the red and white director Enrico Bonzanini -. We could only set up the mandatory teams at the federal level but thanks to the work of recent years we will have them all thanks to the partnerships with Cabassi and Limidi women. The youth sector is one of the greatest satisfactions of recent years, with a great impact on the territory and also great results”.

«I thank the owners and the CEO who give me this opportunity. Last year we managed the miracle of setting up six teams which this year will become 7 at the men’s level in addition to the three women’s, for a total of ten teams – says the new manager of the Pellacani red and white academy –. We have started collaborations with nearby professional teams such as Mantua, Reggiana, Modena, Sassuolo and Parma, but we will also try to find resources from regional teams.”

At staff level, the three major teams will be entrusted to Roberto Valmori for the Primavera 4 with a UEFA A license, Gianfranco Schillaci for the Under 17s and Michele Sommella, fresh from winning the provincial championship, for the U15s. Behind Primavera, U17 and U15, Carpi will also directly set up the U14 Giovanissimi teams, two of Esordienti and one of Pulcini, while Cabassi will take care of the Under 18 and U16 groups as well as the football school, which will all take to the field with doubles Cabassi-Carpi logo.

As for the playing fields, Primavera and U17 will train at Sigonio, U15 and U14 at Budrione, while the younger groups at Santa Croce and the women’s teams at Limidi. For official matches, Carpi is still looking for a synthetic pitch, for which it has started a dialogue with nearby clubs that are equipped with the structure.
