Although two different groups have formed under the porticoes, the voice of the protest is only one: “If President Todde wants to put herself at the head of the people, we are there.” They say it from Su entu nostu, they say it from No Tyrrhenian link, from Sardinia to is sardus. The groups who arrived from Gallura, Sulcis and Anglona, but also from the Uta area say so.
«We believe that the moratorium path is not the right one», is repeated in all the interventions, «Sardinia can protect itself from ongoing speculation only if the prerogatives of the Statute are applied. Any other solution, including the moratorium, does not stop the authorizations already given nor protect the territory from the upgrading of existing plants, given that not even the decree of Minister Pichetto Fratin regulates this aspect”.
For Committees and associations, the way forward is to “make a legislative provision that includes all the articles of the Statute that are capable of truly putting up barriers against the assault in Sardinia: we will not allow our Island to be transformed into a new servitude”.

At 11.30, after two hours of mobilisation, the interventions continued under the building in via Roma. And the list of participants has grown: there is clean Sardinia, the flags of Sardigna Natzione have been added to those of the Quattro Mori. There is the USB union, there is the Comitadu de sa Nurra. And many citizens. «We are free Sardinians who came here to defend our land. If we don’t do it, politics won’t do it”, says Marta, 20 years old, standing in the crowd.
