Modica – The Modica Police Station, assisted by the Vittoria Police Station, has executed the precautionary measure of prohibition of approaching the person and placing an electronic bracelet on a 37-year-old Tunisian. As required by current legislation, after the complaint presented by the woman, the so-called Red code was immediately activated and in a few days, in addition to the offended person, the family members of the same and other people aware of the persecutory attitudes of the woman were questioned for summary information. ‘man. The elements collected by the Agents of the Modica Police Department allowed the Ragusa Public Prosecutor’s Office to request and obtain from the GIP a precautionary measure prohibiting the approach, in order to avoid the continuation of the stalking conduct.
An electronic bracelet will be applied to the man in order to monitor his movements, especially if he approaches less than 500 meters from the complainant, as in such cases deferred arrest is foreseen for the confirmed violation of the measure.
