On November 20th, the day of the 120th anniversary of Robur, the project will be completed, but in the meantime it was launched to present it to the city and perhaps raise some funding. The Robur Museum is a reality, the latest great initiative of the Siena Club Fedelissimi, described yesterday evening in the headquarters of the historic supporters’ club, in the presence of the sports councilor of the Municipality of Siena (who sponsored the event), Lorenzo Lorè.
The Museum is a container of many news, images and films regarding the black and white universe and its history. It contains a large database on players, coaches, presidents, managers and even simple collaborators and all the championships played by Siena football, with scoreboards, rankings, appearances, goals and much more. Ample space will be dedicated to Juventus support, which has always been the true soul of this association which is about to turn 120 years old.
“Anyone who leaves a donation, of any amount, will be among the founding members of the Robur Museum”, underlines the president Lorenzo Mulinacci. “It wasn’t right that I alone could enjoy material that concerns an entire community – is the incipit of Nicola Natili, who has made his immense and precious archive available – ours is a gift to the city because Siena is a history of this city”.
