Sensational flop occurred this morning at Pozzuolia municipality in the metropolitan area of Naples, where the first evacuation exercise was planned in the area subject to the bradyseism phenomenon, organized and promoted by the Civil Protection.

Of the 200 reservations registered, only four people showed up this morning, in addition to the five who had not made one. A real failure, which frankly clashes with the constant (and legitimate) request for assistance and information from citizens when seismic phenomena occur.
Mayor Luigi Manzonivisibly annoyed at the sight of the hundreds of people who were bathing at the same time, declared: “I understand the citizens’ concerns, but we are working on it like never before.”
“I don’t want to criticize anyone – continued the mayor -, I don’t feel like condemning those who didn’t come. For our part, we are doing everything without wasting time. We are facing a state of emergency in Pozzuoli and at the same time we are organizing the exercises, perhaps this could have been one of the causes. The communication on this simulation has been made, now we need to understand the reasons for this low participation”.
