Monica. Odellaliberty, written and directed by Francesca Fedeli (Hystrio Award for Vocation 2023), also starring alongside Martina Carpino, is an ode to the iconic Monica Vitti, her career, her talent and above all her great personality. Monica. Odellaliberty is a tribute to Monica Vitti, one of the most emblematic female figures of Italian cinema. Histrionic, engaging, strong, reserved, rebellious, the Roman actress lived far from any imposition of her time, chasing the element that most of all characterized her existence: freedom. Through some salient moments of her life and career, the show tries to evoke the multifaceted actress and the woman outside the box, as happens with a perfume, a memory, a friend who hasn’t been seen for a long time and, finally, find again.
