«The City Council, following my report, approved the resolution proposed by the public works service of our municipality, having as its object the framework agreement for the maintenance of internal municipal roads for 790 thousand including charges and 620 thousand euros net. As we had already announced, when approving the three-year public works plan, it is the municipal administration’s will to continue investing resources, in this case municipal, for the maintenance of the roads. After having carried out road works in 24 months for more than one and a half million euros, with financial resources drawn from loans, we are not stopping.
In the next few weeks it will be the turn of rural roads, for which approval of a framework agreement is also expected” stated the branch councilor Giuseppe Santoruvo.
The objective of the intervention is the definition of a Framework Agreement within the terms set out in the art. 59 of Legislative Decree 36/2023 for renovation works on road plans (roadways, sidewalks, rainwater management systems, elements accompanying the road platform) to be carried out on the internal road network of the Municipality of Bitonto (CU and Hamlets).
