The State Police of Terni has expelled a 25-year-old Gambian for being a social danger. The young man, who was the recipient of a previous expulsion order from the national territory which he had never complied with, when he presented himself at the police headquarters to request the renewal of his residence permit, was immediately expelled from the national territory with forced accompaniment to the Ponte Galeria Retention and Repatriation Center (Rome).
The agents of the Immigration Office of the State Police have ascertained the social dangerousness of the Gambian, who arrived in our country in 2016, has collected a series of reports and convictions for various crimes committed in the national territory: drug dealing, threats against an officer of the Guardia di Finanza, violation of the measure of the prohibition of residence, evasion, resistance to a Public Official, prohibition to return to Terni.
Always unemployed, despite living with a brother who was perfectly integrated with his family, the young man continued to commit crimes, also continuing to submit requests for international protection, after receiving an initial refusal from the Territorial Commission for the Recognition of Humanitarian Protection, not by showing up for scheduled appointments, only to delay his departure from Italy.
In recent days, the policemen from the Terni police station accompanied him to the CPR while waiting for the first flight to his country of origin.
