From the covered market to the budget up to the works in via Pannilani. Different topics, however, capable of once again triggering a heated back-and-forth between the mayor of Como and the minority councillors. And so the hall of Palazzo Cernezzi catches fire.
Among the protagonists of yesterday evening was the Forza Italia councilor, Alessandro Falanga who, explaining his vote against the budget change, lashed out at the mayor, calling him rude because he had noticed him smiling during his speech. For his part, Rapinese replied “Rude to whom? Do not you dare”. The president of the municipal council Fulvio Alzando he had to call the two to order and ask them both to tone down.
Before that she had been the councilor of the League, Elena Negretti, to ask for clarifications regarding the works in via Pannilani. “On the order it was written that passage to emergency vehicles would be guaranteed, which did not happen to a lady who fortunately was not in danger of her life”. The mayor replied that the rescuers must know the closed roads, Negretti – ordinance in hand – replied shortly after “I’m not speaking nonsense or as I heard the mayor say that I don’t understand a dot dot. Just read the document.”
Then the conflict escalated further on the topic of digitization and planning of the mortuary registry once again with councilor Negretti speaking off the microphone. In response, the mayor told her to “keep her mouth shut, respecting the regulations”.
There were also requests for clarification on the near future of the Como covered market for agricultural producers. The agreement is expiring and they will have to vacate the spaces on July 31st. Date on which the mayor was peremptory.
