“How can we define or judge yet another incomprehensible planting of ForestaMe in via La Farina?”. The city councilor Free Youthgroup leader of Fratelli d’Italia, after having highlighted in the past some critical issues regarding various executive phases of the ForestaMe project in the city centre, expresses strong doubts about what has been achieved and is being achieved in via La Farina.
“In particular – highlights Gioveni with emblematic photos – in the stretch of via La Farina at the intersection with viale Europa where the appropriate horizontal signs without parking had been created to allow cars to queue up close to the traffic lights before continuing straight or turning onto viale Europa, instead the new locations for the trees with evident damage to traffic”.
“All this is incomprehensible and unjustifiable – says the councilor – unless the Administration also wants to pedestrianize Via La Farina. Not to mention – continues the astonished FdI exponent – the creation of the bases for the plantings on authentic concrete blocks or even on pipes, with the imaginable consequences that may arise (both in compromising the development of the trees and in the possible damage to the pipes). Therefore by virtue of the umpteenth distortions that emerged in the ForestaMe project – concludes Gioveni – Just this morning I asked the third competent council commission to urgently summon the general director Puccio and the responsible technicians both to have the necessary explanations and to adopt any corrective measures”.
