A solemn ceremony, an evocative ritual and, at the end, an elegant convivial moment in the noble Grimaldi palace in the city centre. This is what was organized by Royal Archconfraternity of Saints John the Baptist and Evangelist of the Knights of Malta ad honorem (attached to the Lateran Archbasilica) of Catanzaro on the eve of the Feast of the Saint.
An occasion in which, annually, the investiture of the new honorary Knights also takes place, which this time were 14. Among these, also the mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fioritawhose godfather he was Saint Alessio Sciarrone.

De Furia), Domenico Roberto Rosario GALATI (father R. Naso Naccari), Alfredo IANNELLO (father L. Nesci), Lucius MARTELLO (father L. Nesci), Stefano ROSSI (father L. Nesci), Giacomo Francesco SALVIATI (father L. Nesci), Andrea TAMBURELLI LANZARA DI PIETRAGAVINA (father S. Olivari de’ LM).
In addition to the brothers, some well-known professionals also actively participate in the life of the Brotherhood, one of them being Dr. Headlamp well-known accountant from Catanzaro, who also received a certificate of merit during the ceremony for his active closeness to the activities and values of the Brotherhood.

In the mass officiated by Don Salvino Cognetti, the invitation to the brothers to “witness with great commitment and in a mirrored manner their adherence to the Christian life and authentically as well as voluntarily embrace the ‘mission’ of the brotherhood, that is, that of helping those who have need”. The invitation, then, to actively participate in the life of the Brotherhood through meetings, meetings and social activities.
