Holm and Dragowski bring 5 million, but there are ten other players to sell

The first two permanent releases are looming for Spezia in full “slimming treatment”. In the next few hours the announcements of the transfers of Emil Holm at Bologna e Bartlomej Dragowski at Panathinaikos, two operations now on the right track. Yesterday Eduardo Macia and Giovanni Sartori set up a draft agreement for a figure between 7 and 7.5 million euros plus a small percentage on the future resale for the Swede. The Pole will move to the Greeks, with whom he has played on loan since last January, for a basic fee of 1.7 million euros which will eventually reach two million euros with bonuses.

Considering that half of Holm’s proceeds go to the Danish side Sonderjyske (who cover half of the season’s budget with that amount), the Via Melara club will receive just over 5 million euros in total. Furthermore, Spezia is guaranteed not to have to pay Dragowski’s heavy salary, who will therefore also receive the July transfer from the Athenians. It must be said that the proceeds do not end up directly in the transfer portfolio, but rather in the general cost reduction process which is also influenced by the increased expenses relating to the renovation of the Picco stadium, which addresses the part relating to the coverage of the Railway curve.

The amount of wages, which is around 20 million euros, therefore suffers a first blow. Which, however, will not be enough to set the incoming transfer market in motion. There are still some on the starting line Reca, Verde, Nikolaou and Zurkowski, for which however at the moment no real interest has been revealed. These are thorny cases, which could only be resolved in August. In addition to them on the landing list Bastoni, Antonucci, Moutinho, Cipot and Krollis. who instead seem to be able to find accommodation more easily given the lower costs. The timing of the signings will go accordingly, which should include two goalkeepers, two forwards, a left wing player and a midfielder.

An urgent goal is a goalkeeper, given the farewell of Zoet and Zovko and Crespi’s long-term injury. A number 1 will arrive within the first week of July, in time for the Santa Cristina Valgardena retreat. A second interpreter of the role will be recruited later, with the young Plaia and Mascardi joining the adults for Alpine training. The second objective on the list of importance is a striker who doesn’t make Falcinelli and Di Serio feel too alone. Also in this case the idea is to close by July.
