It will start today 32nd edition of the Tour of Veneto reserved for Elite and Under 23s, which will end on Sunday. There stage raceincluded in the Bicisport 2024 Prestige, was won last year by Luca Cretti (Colpack Ballan) ahead of Matteo Zurlo (Trevigiani) and Luca Cavallo (Tre Colli), while two years ago he won Riccardo Lucca (Work Service) ahead of Cavallo and Edoardo Faresin (Zalf). The 2024 edition will kick off today with a very quick prologue of just 1.4 km in Rovigo.

The first Red shirt leader of the general classification will be awarded with a 1.4 km long prologue in Rovigo basically free of curves. The runners, in fact, will start and arrive in Veneto Coursetherefore without ever turning and simply following the trajectories of the road.
Favorites
At the start of Tour of Veneto there will be 25 teams for a total of 163 starters. Below is the list of starters, with the riders competing for the youth classification in yellow.
As regards the prologue, riders capable of producing great power in the shortest possible time will obviously be favoured. Then pay attention to Federico Guzzo (Trevigiani), who this year won the GP la Torre and the Gino Visentini Trophy, and Davide Boscaro (MBH Colpack Ballan), who like Mattia Predomo (Campana Imballaggi) could make his track record count. Also worth keeping an eye on Francesco Della Lunga (Hopplà-Petroli), who has already won four races this season, and Tommaso Nencini (Zalf), who won the Reda Caduti Cup in April.
