L’AQUILA – The traveling exhibition “THE CELESTINIAN CAPITALS OF PEACE TOWARDS THE JUBILEE”, will stop tomorrow 26 June, at 9pm, at the Cathedral of Ferentino (FR) with the musical story “Forgiveness nourishes the world”.
The initiative promoted by the Carispaq Foundation to celebrate the legacy of Celestine V and his message of peace and spirituality, after the success achieved in Isernia, touches another city linked to the figure of the Morrone hermit thanks to the collaboration and sharing of the project by the municipal administration of Ferentino in Lazio.
“The journey of the project ‘The Celestine Capitals of Peace towards the Jubilee’ continues, strongly desired and organized by the Carispaq Foundation – declares the President Domenico Taglieri – tomorrow’s stop in Ferentino is particularly significant because it unites, in the name of Celestine V, territories and communities strongly linked to this figure and his message of forgiveness which is the one collected by the Church with the announcement of the Jubilee that we are about to celebrate celebrate again after more than seven centuries”.
For the pianist, creator and artistic director of the show “Forgiveness Feeds the World” Sara Cecala: “This second appointment, shared with the municipal administration of Ferentino which we thank for having enthusiastically joined the initiative, was among the desired ones for the summer tour since we will perform on the occasion of the 916th anniversary of the construction of the Cathedral where the relic of the Heart of Celestine V, a few steps from the Monastery of Sant’Antonio Abate, place of first burial of the hermit saint, until 1327″.
With Angelo De Nicola and his engaging narration, the storyteller Germanus D’Aurelio (aka ‘Nduccio) who will give the public some of his intimate reflections on the figure of the Pope of Forgiveness, will perform on the violin Stefano Scollettaon the accordion Lorenzo Scolletta And on the cello Giancarlo Giannangeli, with my contribution on the piano.
He will be there to embellish the show Free Candida D’Aurelio, magnificent interpreter of ” Ecco son qua” and “Il Perdono”, songs for which I edited the lyrics and the music which we hope will find feedback from the public, together with the original compositions of Emanuele Castellano”. In July, on the 22nd, we will return to perform in Abruzzo with the Sulmona evening within the calendar of the Giostra d’Europa per la Pace.
