ANCONA Ciak, engine: action. Siani and Pieraccioni aboard a gray jeep speed from Piazza Roma to the Tredici Cannelle fountain. They get out and enter the Giorgi jewelry store. The scene was filmed about twenty times. Thus began the filming of the film “You and I must speak”, the cinepanettone directed by Alessandro Siani which will be shot almost entirely in Ancona. «Get out of there», «Everyone shut up», «Don’t cross the field». The production assistants worked hard all day yesterday keeping curious passers-by at bay. The cruise passengers traveling around the city, seeing the crowd of people, stopped and didn’t understand. “What happens?” a tourist asked. “They’re shooting a film: Italian actors” replied a local police officer, indicating the filming location.

Cell phones and cameras in hand, everyone had fun photographing the scene which was repeated on loop throughout the morning. Leonardo Pieraccioni, when starting the new take, leaned out of the car window and greeted the people gathered beyond the red and white ribbon. The curiosity of the people of Ancona was the great companion of this first day of filming which moved between Piazza Roma, Corso Garibaldi and Via Carducci. Today it is repeated in the same locations. For the first day everything went smoothly, except for the excessive desire to peek on the part of someone who forced the local police officers to reprimand, on several occasions, the less disciplined. Nothing problematic, ordinary administration even for the film crew accustomed to having to keep fans and onlookers at bay.

“I wonder if we can take a photo with Siani” asks a young fan of the Neapolitan actor. «I would like to try Pieraccioni, he seems more affable» replies a girl not far away. Meanwhile, behind the Fontana dei Cavalli in Piazza Roma, a dozen chairs arranged in a hemicycle hosted the extras and the two stunt doubles of Siani and Pieraccioni. In turns, in small groups, the extras were called to take part in the scenes. Ancona woke up yesterday morning under a beautiful sun and with some news that stirred a certain enthusiasm. The two actors, in fact, will remain in the city until the end of July, when filming will end. And in the evening, as happened on Sunday at Rosa’s, it will be easy to meet them and take advantage of asking for the inevitable photo. Thus, 23 years after “The Son’s Room”, by Nanni Moretti, Ancona will return to the Italian giant screens.
