Journey down memory lane in Rescaldina with third year secondary school students Alessandro Ottolini, who on Saturday 22 June presented to the town the panels equipped with QR codes which from now on will accompany those who stop to read them at (re)discovery of events and characters that have marked the history of the municipality of Legnanese.

We are talking about three plaques in total, positioned respectively at Anna Maria Mozzoni park and below gravestones commemorating the Bassetti workers deported to concentration camps and three young partisans killed on Via Matteotti by Nazi-fascists: plaques discovered over the weekend by the students themselves, in front of the mayor Gilles Ielo, the education councilor Loredana Pigozzi, the teaching staff of the school complex and the ANPI, which respectively contain the biographical profile and an audio of the pioneer of the fights for women’s emancipation, the biographical notes of each of the deportees and an audio and video that represents the story of the three partisans in theatrical form, entirely filmed and edited by the class.
«The educational project, in collaboration with the ANPI section of Rescaldina, was born with the aim of keep the memory alive by updating it with new communication methods and therefore more stimulating for the new generations – they explain from ANPI -. Even more interesting if the story is told by the young people themselves. The work of the students was that of connect places and stories that belong to our country, accessible to all citizens. In fact, from today it will be enough to scan the QR code with your smartphone to access the digital contents created by classes 3A, 3B and 3C”.
