FANO Fano tragedy. Firefighters and law enforcement intervened this morning (24 June) in a house on the outskirts of Fano. In via Fanella 127 carabinieri, forensic police and firefighters were called to enter the terraced house. The terrible suspicion, which over the course of the hours turned out to be a certainty, is that it was a double murder.
6 PM: A HAMMER FOUND, MAYBE THE MURDER WEAPON?
During the search, the investigators found a hammer thrown into a well. The object was seized to understand whether it could be the weapon used to kill Giuseppe Ricci.
3 PM: A HOUSE SOLD AT AUCTION FOR THE SON’S DEBTS
Today the victims had to hand over their 75 square meter house, which went up for auction last September and sold to a plumber for around 60 thousand euros. Debts incurred by his son Luca, separated, a worker, who lives upstairs, for which debts the parents had guaranteed with their own house. For investigators, all this is not a detail to be underestimated in the search for the truth.

The victims are husband and wife in their 70s and pensioners Giuseppe Ricci and Luisa Marconi. They were found lifeless this morning, with clear signs of a struggle inside the house.
11.30 AM INSPECTIONS IN THE SON’S HOUSE, HEARD BY THE POLICE
The son of the murdered couple, Luca Ricci – two children, separated – who raised the alarm at this moment is being interviewed by the police while the magistrate and forensic team are also carrying out investigations on the upper floor where he lives.
10AM SCIENTIFIC ARRIVED, SIGNS OF A FIGHT IN THE HOUSE
Signs of a struggle were found in the house: above all the man fought with the murderer while the woman apparently died in bed due to suffocation with a pillow placed on her head which prevented her from breathing.
GIUSEPPE RICCI FIGHTED, KILLED WITH SEVERAL BLOWS TO THE HEAD
The husband, on the other hand, would have signs of serious injuries and head trauma compatible with the use of a combatant body. The son lives upstairs. The magistrate on duty, prosecutor Maria Letizia Fucci, arrived on site, joining the director of the Pesaro flying squad Paolo Badioli and the director of the Fano police station Stefano Seretti.
The alarm raised by the son: “My parents are dead”
It was their son Luca Ricci who raised the alarm this morning, saying he had found the lifeless bodies of his parents Giuseppe Ricci and Luisa Marconi. From the scene that the investigators found themselves in front of, they were certain that it was a double murder.
