Thursday literary evening with “Feminine fringes”

The “Literary Quarters” exhibition continues, which from 2022 presents contemporary authors and their works in the public reading libraries of Vicenza: the next event, entitled “Under an inviolate dome”, is for Thursday 27 June at 6pm in the park of the headquarters of the Bertoliana library of Villa Tacchi, in Viale della Pace, will present the latest book of poems by Carla Combatti entitled “Femminili fringenti” (Cleup, 2024).

Valeria Mancini will dialogue with the author on some themes from her collection linked to the female world: feelings, absences, losses that affect existence. Together they will go in search of meanings and protection, beauty and sharing of poetic song, accompanied by the voice of Maria Rosa Ebene, who will be entrusted with the readings of the verses taken from the author’s collection.

Carla Combatti was born in Vicenza, where she lives. For many years you worked at the Bertoliana Civic Library. She is fascinated by vegetal forms, she grows plants on her terrace, watercolor flowers and poetry together with the friends of Clessidra Poetica. His previous collections – “Canzoni per via” (2001), “Arachnidi Patienti” (2008), “Voci per recitato arboreo e fiore” (2013) – have received an award and some mentions.

Entrance to the garden of Villa Tacchi is free until all available places are available. In case of bad weather the event will take place in the library.
