RIMINI. Green hydrogen is “critical” to achieving the European Union’s decarbonisation goals. And Key, the Italian exhibition group fair dedicated to the energy transition, dedicates an ad hoc “hall” to it. Precisely “with a view – explains the company born from the merger of the Rimini and Vicenza Fairs – of enhancing its crucial role in reducing polluting emissions and with the common aim of contributing to accelerating the development of the sector” Ieg and Hannover Fairs international Gmbh, the Italian branch of Deutsche Messe Ag, have signed a collaboration agreement for the joint organization of a new hydrogen exhibition supported by Hydrogen and fuel cells within Key-The energy transition expo, the IEG event on the transition and energy efficiency, scheduled in Rimini from 5 to 7 March 2025. Hydrogen and fuel cells Europe is organized and managed by Deutsche Messe Ag, the German trade fair company, one of the main worldwide. The initiative, specifies Ieg, aims to become, at an international level, “the privileged place for discussion on hydrogen issues and its importance for the energy transition, as well as a point of reference for the main players involved, for meet, discuss and support the birth of new projects”. The Show constitutes the natural evolution and strengthening of the Key exhibition area dedicated to hydrogen. «We have always believed in its potential and for this reason we included it among the Key exhibition areas from the first moment», comments Ieg CEO Corrado Peraboni.
Today, he adds, “we are proud to announce a new joint venture, with a highly relevant and experienced partner”, which will allow us to “further strengthen the presence of hydrogen within our event”.
