This was announced by the regional councilor of FdI, president of the Budget Commission, Antonio Montuoro.
“There was no reason to question the reconfirmation of resources, already allocated in previous years, to support municipal administrations in planning activities and services for the summer season”, underlines Montuoro.
“The question raised by councilor Ernesto Alecci will be answered in a council resolution whose approval is expected this week, completing a procedure with its natural administrative timing. The President of the Region, Roberto Occhiuto, did not want to fail, even for the summer of 2024, to provide support to all twenty Municipalities that will be able to rely on economic contributions to further enrich their package of services related to accessibility and to hospitality, as well as to set up events and demonstrations capable of promoting our territories in the best possible way”.
“Moreover, tourism enhancement and the relaunch of the image of our region represent priorities and pillars of President Occhiuto’s political and government action – concludes Montuoro -. A strategy in which support for Blue Flag Cities plays a primary role, a commitment that I have had the opportunity to see in the periodic discussions I held with the Governor on the subject. These are the premises with which the administrations will be able to prepare for a summer whose forecasts, according to the experts, are encouraging and give rise to hope”.
