Teramo enters the large open-air gym of Sport e Salute SpA. The Teramo municipality, in fact, adheres to the Sport di ALL – Parks project, created by Sport e Salute SpA (the state company for the promotion of sport and healthy lifestyles ) and promoted together with ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities). The initiative will be presented on Tuesday 06/25/24 at 11:00 am at the Tordino and Vezzola river park. After many parks opened throughout the national territory, it is now the Municipality of Teramo, which has always been attentive to the well-being and health of its citizens, which adheres to the promotion of wellness in gardens, parks and urban areas. The digitalized Equipped Area – online with all the others already installed in the rest of the country – is located in the area of the Tordino and Vezzola river park and will be a place dedicated to the well-being of all citizens. To be together, to practice physical activity, exercising alone or in a group. On every single tool, everyone will be able to download the training tutorials, through a simple QR Code, thus being able to do physical activity in the greenery, to regenerate body and mind. The Municipality of Teramo will directly deal with the management of the equipped area which will be made available to the local ASDs and to everyone, without age limits, in compliance with the open use principle. The inauguration and delivery to the citizens of Sport di Tutti Parchi in the Tordino and Vezzola river park will be on Tuesday, 25 June 2024 – 11:00 – 12:30, where sport and psychophysical well-being will be celebrated in the presence of the Mayor and President of ANCI Abruzzo, Gianguido D’Alberto and of the Sports Councilor Alessandra Ferri who will talk about the value of the initiative. Also speaking will be the Regional Coordinator of Sport and Health SpA Domenico Scognamiglio, and the sports testimonials Alfonso Pepe, captain of Città di Teramo 1913, fresh from promotion to Serie D and Settimio Massotti from Teramo, former Italian handball champion and former coach of the national team. After the ribbon cutting, there will be a QR CODE demonstration activity and practical activities with the Teramo Women’s Rugby players.
