The Police commissioner of the province of Potenza Giuseppe Ferrari greeted the State Police personnel retired due to reaching age limits.
On this occasion the Farewell Medal from the Chief of Police – General Director of the PS to the Assistant Chief Technical Coordinator Leonardo Lorusso and the Dismissal Sheet to the Superintendent Chief Technical Coordinator Giacomo ROSA.
The Police Commissioner’s thanks to colleagues Lorusso and Rosa for the work done and for the commitment ensured throughout their professional life.
There delivery of the awards took place in the presence of the Office Manager, last places of service of the personnel concerned, the Chief of Staff Vice Quaestor Michele Geltride.
Assistant Chief Technical Coordinator Leonardo LORUSSO – Joined the Police on 29 May 2001 as a Technical Operator Trainee.
At the end of the course at the Student Agents School of Senigallia, he was assigned, as his first location, to the Trento Police Headquarters, where in 2011 he obtained the qualification of Technical Collaborator and where he remained until January 2014, the year of his transfer to the Police Headquarters of Potenza. Here he serves until the date of his retirement, moving into the role of Agents and Technical Assistants of the State Police, at the Cabinet Office / Switchboard.
Chief Superintendent Chief Technical Coordinator Giacomo ROSA – He joined, as a Student Agent, the Administration of the PS on 8 May 1990. After having attended the course at the School of Student Agents in Trieste, he was transferred to the Police Headquarters in Naples, where he served until 1993, the year his transfer to the Potenza Police Headquarters.
At the new headquarters he was assigned first to the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office and then to the Cabinet Office, serving at the UPGAIP (Provincial Office for the Automated Management of Police Information) and subsequently at the Switchboard. In 1999, after the training course, he moved into the technical roles of the State Police.
From 2012 to 2021 he served at the Motorway Subsection of Eboli (SA) and was then transferred back, in 2021, to the Potenza Police Headquarters, as Chief Technical Coordinator Superintendent, and assigned to the UPGAIP.
