Two minors have been arrested for the murder of the 17-year-old found dead last night in the undergrowth in the Baden Powell park in the center of Pescara. The two boys would be one son of a police commander of the local station, the other of a well-known lawyer of the city. The Prosecutor’s Office maintains the utmost confidentiality on the matter: it only lets it be known that «it is about a very delicate case», precisely because one of the two arrested is, in fact, a relative of a commander of the force.
The chief prosecutor Giuseppe Bellelli is dealing with the matter, who immediately went to the place where the body was found together with the deputy Gennaro Varone and the juvenile prosecutor David Mancini, as well as the medical examiner Christian D’Ovidio who carried out an initial examination on the body .
The two young people, questioned in recent hours at the police station, after the murder of the 17 year old, according to initial reconstructions, they were going to go swimming in the seaand there, probably, they would make sure to get rid of the knife used (think of a diving knife, given the wounds inflicted). Firefighters divers are working to try to recover the weapon.
The reasons for the attack have not yet been clarified: the reconstructions they hypothesize a dispute over a debt of a few hundred euros, perhaps linked to drug dealing, of which the Pescara park would be a square. The 17-year-old was apparently stabbed in the afternoon, although the body was found in the evening. Son of Albanian parents who do not live in Italy, the killed boy had been entrusted to his grandmother. From the first police checks, it seems that in the past he had some minor trouble with drugs.
