Brescia, W Group acquires the French Camo Groupe and exceeds one billion in turnover

Brescia. W-Group, multi-brand and multi-market human resources solutions group founded and led by Federico Vione, based in Brescia, has concluded the acquisition of Camo groupe, a French company specialized in the search and selection of personnel for the provision of temporary work.
This is the first acquisition outside national borders by the Group, already present abroad with W Executive, brands specialized in executive search and HR advisory, in France, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, where it has a total of 400 employees .

After the recent entry of Magister Group, a multi-business corporate present in the Italian panorama with ALI Lavoro, Labor-B, Repas and Yous, this operation confirms the continuous and constant growth of W-Group. With a turnover of 125 million euros, 50 branches and 170 employees, the entry of Camo groupe will allow the Group to accelerate towards the goal of becoming a reference player at European level. The number of branches, in fact, will rise to 250 and the Group’s people will become 1,600 in total.
W-Group thus reaches one billion in revenues, one year earlier than expected in its strategic plan.
Camo groupe, which will maintain its identity, brand and positioning, will be led by Sebastien Bourdu, a manager with long experience in the sector who in his new role will report directly to Federico Vione.

«There is a simple fact that defines, and tells more than others, the growth of W-Group: when we were just born, in 2021, we were around 300 people; today, with this new acquisition, we will reach 1,600. A number that derives from our commitment to creating a model capable of attracting the best talents, enhancing them and giving them trust” said Federico Vione, CEO of W-Group. «A unique ecosystem in the sector inspired by international best practices, in which the Group brands maintain their identity and distinctive positioning, sharing their skills to create common value. Territorial presence, where the headquarters and production units of companies are located and where people live, is a key element of this model because it guarantees in-depth knowledge of the local economic fabrics and their needs. The acquisition of Camo groupe is a fundamental step for the internationalization of this model and I am convinced that, thanks to Sebastien on French soil, W-Group will broaden the boundaries of our geographical leadership by creating an increasingly widespread network of connections.”

Under the guidance of the new CEO, Camo will expand the scope of the professional figures sought to include technical profiles and will double its branches in five years, going from 50 to 100. The objective of the plan is to reach one billion in turnover in France through further acquisitions and organic growth of the business.
«I am very excited about today’s milestone, achieved after several decades entirely dedicated to the company and the mission of promoting job placement throughout France – declared Jean-Claude Schneider, President and Founder of Camo. The desire to maintain Camo’s values and ensure sustained and profitable growth were key elements in the choice to join W-Group. In this way I leave a talented team and a company in perfect financial health, which I am convinced is in good hands with W-Group in this new phase of its development.”
