Atletica Monza protagonist in Bolzano and Chiuro

Atletica Monza was the protagonist this weekend in Lana, Bolzano, where the Italian Promises, Juniors and Students of Multiple Events Championships were held. The Monza company participated in two categories: juniores with Lisa Caramel and students with Emanuele Fiorucci.

The final ranking saw Lisa placed in 7th place with 4427 points, after two days of competition and 7 specialties covered, while Emanuele placed 18th with 5447 points in the decathlon specialty.

The company expressed satisfaction with the improvements obtained in some specialties: Lisa improved in the 200 meters, where she obtained a time of 26.39 and in the 100 hurdles with 15.89, 9 cents from the minimum for the individual Italian specialties. Also good performances were in the 800 metres, where she came first overall with 2.26.74, and in the shot put with 10.20, while unfortunately she lost some positions in the javelin throw (25.02 metres), in the high jump (1.55) and in the jumping long
(5.14), performances all below its standard.
Emanuele, on the other hand, improved in the pole vault by adding 10 cm to his personal best (3.70) and in the javelin throw with 29.03.

The regional student championships in Chiuro

Excellent news also in the regional field from Chiuro, where the regional student championships were held. The high note comes from the pole vault: Federico Sironireigning tricolor indoor silver medalist, wins the race with 4.40 and then in the first assault he scores an excellent 4.60, a measurement that earns him the European Under18 standard, with an improvement of 15 centimeters.
Satisfaction also in other specialties for the Monza athletes: Filippo Bianchini he became regional champion in the high jump with 1.92. Daniele Militello he is 2nd in the 110 hurdles with an excellent 14.96 and the next day 9th in the 400 hurdles with 59.80. Giulia Sironi he returned from a long injury with a 3rd place in the triple jump with a measurement of 11.15. Excellent 4th places for Federico Sironi in the javelin (37.56), Filippo Passoni in the 110 hurdles with 14.98, while Gabriele Balbo he obtained 5th place in the long jump with 6.23 and 6th in the triple jump with 13.31.
