It was presented to the press on Saturday 22 June LIFF11- Lamezia International Film Fest, during a press conference held in Lamezia Terme, inside the Giardini del Novecento.
The artistic director and founder of LIFF illustrated the complete program, with all the news and guests that will characterize this eleventh edition.
Come back Author’s Debuts, the section that continues to explore the beginnings of cinema’s greatest artists; returns, with great news, Glance (open your eyes)the international competition which is also open for the first time to unpublished feature films not yet distributed in cinemas, to continue to take a look at the world through the keyhole that is, after all, every camera.
The new feature film section already promises to be very rich, with three preview titles compared to the theatrical release: Tracesfrom Dubravka Turic, The Darking Way, by Zsolt Pozsgai, Ecos, by Tommy Llorens.
The 2024 edition of LIFF promises to be particularly rich in guests. We start on July 15th with Marco Castoldi, aka Morganwho will dialogue with the director during a panel meeting on the state of the art in Italy, his passions between cinema and music, his commitment to discovering new talents.
On Tuesday 16 July a great Italian and international star will take the stage at LIFF: Asia Argento, author and actress who has traveled and continues to travel and explore the world of cinema and art in its various forms. We continue with Franco Maresco, the multifaceted and irrepressible author of books, television formats and films that cover the recent history of our country with a caustic streak.
Double appointment also on Wednesday 17th, with the cartoonist and founder of Gigabye Yes and with “Mandrake”to the century Giuseppe Ninnoactor and tiktoker inventor of the beloved Imbarazzi Family.
Thursday 18 July the day will be dedicated to gastronomy, with a live event by “Cinegustology”in the company of the author Marco Lombardi, followed by the presentation of the book Veg in BlackOf Vegnarock.
On Saturday 20 July, for the final evening of the festival, another super guest will be at LIFF: Claudio Bisiowho also recently made his debut as a film director The last time we were children. The director and new director of the Torino Film Festival will then take turns on stage Giulio Base and the director Cristiano Bortone.
Among the many collateral events that will soon be announced, we are proud to announce the partnership with PLOT festival and a brand new collaboration with SRC / Acting School of Calabria.
