Ancona – Following a report the Police intervened on Saturday morning in the Baraccola area, for verify the behavior of three suspicious people.
Once the officers arrived on site they immediately noticed them tinkering around a road tractor, with the clear intent to take the fuel from the tank and pour it into a can.
With a 2 and a half meter plastic pipe, they were pouring the diesel inside with a pump a jerry can, one of the 6 brought by the group.
Without being noticed, they caught them in the act and during a first check they all appeared to be residents of the province.
Between them a 35 year old Italian of Moldovan origin with precedents and others two of Moldovan citizenship, aged 47 and 44 respectivelythe latter with a criminal record and with a past prevention measure (oral warning) issued by the Police Headquarters of Ancona in 2018.
TO following the investigations, the 44-year-old, with a regular rental contract of the car of a company in Bolzano, reported to the operating agents that he had shortly before met the 35-year-old in a commercial establishment, who offered him diesel fuel for his vehicle in exchange for financial compensation, a proposal which he accepted.
The tractor appeared to be rented to a transport company in Rome for which the 35-year-old worked as a professional driver with a regular contract.
The vehicles and diesel cans were seized. The legal representative of the transport company then filed a complaint.
The three were then reported by the police.
