Rainbow summer show. Tuscany, the taste of beauty: Pisa and Maremma protagonists

Pisa, 24 June 2024 – There is one region in which the taste for beauty can take on many different names and a thousand variations both in the historic cities and in the small villages, in the landscape modeled like a work of art and in the enchantment of a sea illuminated by the sun of all seasons. Its name is Tuscany and in homage to its widespread beauty, Arcobaleno d’estate is celebrated every year, a program of events – from 19 to 25 June – to welcome the start of the tourist season promoted by the Tuscany Region together with La Nazione with the support of the regional agencies Tuscany Tourist Promotion, Fondazione Sistema Toscana and Vetrina Toscana.

Summer rainbow is experiencing its twelfth edition and since the first year has included among its flagship events the dinner on the Ponte di Mezzo in Pisa, which took place last night, even if this year – after a day of rain and wind – the scenographic event had to be given up setup on the bridge and opt for the adjacent Logge di Banchi, a majestic seventeenth-century complex with a clear Medici imprint. The absolute protagonist was Confcommercio Provincia Pisa together with Confristoranti, whose chefs proposed a fish-based menu for 500 guests, including the president of the Region Eugenio Giani, all welcomed by the top management of Confcommercio (the president and regional director Aldo Cursano and Franco Marinoni with Stefano Maestri Accesi and Federico Pieragnoli from Pisa).

But in the last few days there has been a succession of events under the banner of Arcobaleno d’estate: the highlight on Saturday evening with the Notte Nera in Peccioli, Borgo dei Borghi 2024, (again organized by Confcommercio) but also the concert by the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra who performed with maestro Giacomo Loprieno in the crowded Vallombrosa meadow for a tribute to Ennio Morricone (with Toscana Promozione Turistica, Fièri Aps-Ets and Prg association). Or still always Saturday, a Lucca, at the Giglio theater with the conference by Massimo Marsili on Giacomo Puccini, the performance of the soprano Lara Leonardi and the final aperitif again with Confcommercio. We continue on Tuesday at 5.30pm in Alberese (Grosseto) with the guided excursion in the Maremma Park with tasting offered by Confagricoltura. However, the tasting in the Medici Fortress in Arezzo organized by Confcommercio Firenze-Arezzo has been postponed to 2 July due to adverse weather forecasts.
