Olbia. The Olbia Taekwondo Center, under the guidance of the Master Gaspare Cervo, achieved important victories during the competitions held at the Foro Italico in Rome on 2 and 3 June. The centre’s athletes participated in two days of intense competitions, bringing home two medals: a silver and a bronze.
During the KIM & LIU event, the young talent Edoardo Topala he won the silver medal in Freestyle, in the Kids 10-11 years category. This victory represents an important recognition for the athlete and for the work done by Maestro Cervo in preparing him for these competitions.
At the same time, in the Italian Cup / Olympic Dream Cup, dedicated to regional teams, Gioele Mameli won the bronze medal in the Junior -73kg category. Mameli stood out as the only medalist of the Sardinian team in the men’s categories, demonstrating great determination and skill.
These achievements not only strengthen the reputation of Centro Taekwondo Olbia on a national level, but also inspire young local athletes to strive and dream big.
The next appointments will see the Taekwondo Center Olbia engaged in other competitions, with the aim of continuing to achieve success and further developing its athletes. The victories of Topala and Mameli are a source of great pride for all of Olbia.
