23 June Great success for the Plastic Free initiative at the Archi di Ancona
16 kg of waste collected thanks to the commitment of 20 volunteers and the support of the municipal administration

AnconaJune 23, 2024 – Great success of the team’s initiative Plastic Free in the Archi area of Ancona. The event, organized by the representatives Plastic Free premises in Ancona Massimiliano Lelli, Elena Sofia Doria And Nicolò Lovadinasaw the participation of around 20 volunteers.
Collected approximately 16 kg of plastic and various types of waste, including dangerous cigarette butts, in just under 2 hours.

I also thank the councilor Marco Battino and the entire municipal administration of Ancona for their usual closeness to our cleaning and awareness events. We are strongly convinced that collaboration between institutions, trade associations and citizens is the basis of real change.
I hope that soon all the Marche and Umbrian municipal administrations will approach our association to organize Clean Up and/or awareness events in schools.
