Brescia. From Friday 28 June to Sunday 30 June, at the convent of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers, in via del Castello 10 in Brescia, the “Feast of St. Peter”.
The convent of Discalced Carmelite Fathers of S. Pietro in Oliveto it has always represented a central point of reference for the entire city of Brescia. The presence of a community of religious, in fact, offers the faithful, occasional and regular, the possibility of meeting, listening and friendship, which are combined with the ordinary offering of liturgical celebrations and significant social and cultural proposals. The complex consisting of the church and the convent, with its double sixteenth-century cloister, also represents a place of artistic importance, also located in a panoramic position over the entire city.
Since 1873, the year in which the Fathers regained possession of their convent after the events of Napoleonic history, the liturgical Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, titular patrons of the church, has been celebrated; since more recent times, in particular on 29 June, a traditional celebration which is deeply felt by all the people of Brescia takes place in the Castle.

⇒ Masses at 10.30 am / 5.00 pm.
⇒ 3.30pm Guided tour with artistic guide.
⇒ 6.15 pm “Folk in South America” by Rio Grande.
⇒ 9.00 pm Live music with i Loop in Progress, With Augusta Trebeschi and Paolo Cavagnini).

During the three days of celebration (28-29-30 June) the “Alpine refreshment point”, managed by the Fiumicello Alpine Group, will be open every evening from 8.00 pm.
From 4.00 pm there will be the possibility to park at the Istituto Artigianelli in via Brigida Avogadro 23.
