Thanks to the institutional collaboration between the Provincial Health Authority of Catanzaro and the Municipality of Maida, it was possible to improve two services for the population of the Lamezzo area.
In recent days, in fact, an exchange of vehicles took place, at no cost, between the two institutions with the transfer to the ASP of Catanzaro of an ambulance that the Municipality of Maida held thanks to the donation of the Ceniviva family; in exchange the Municipality of Maida received a Fiat Panda to be used for municipal services.
This act has allowed the Company to acquire an additional vehicle to be used throughout the company territory as an emergency ambulance for the transport of patients between hospitals, with the aim of relieving 118 interventions and therefore improving the timeliness and effectiveness of the service of emergency urgency. The Municipality of Maida, with the vehicle received from the ASP, will be able to improve the activities of the Social Service of the same Municipality, which now has a more suitable vehicle.
A gesture of mutual exchange and collaboration between the ASP of Catanzaro and the Municipality of Maida, who have decided to optimize public resources and create synergy in the interest of the population and in the improvement of socio-health activities.
