Adults and children “reviewed” the rules of good differentiation of glass, learning to recognize what should be placed in the green bells and what, on the contrary, although looking like glass, should be differentiated elsewhere.

Great participation in the Campi Diomedei Glass Festival with almost the entire broad field lined up. From the deputy mayor Lucia Aprile to the councilor Giuseppe Galasso.

Workshops, events, lots of joy and participation in the urban park for the “Glass Festival – Glass is in the bell in Foggia”, an event promoted by the municipal administration and Amiu Puglia, as part of the Anci and Coreve project, promoted in collaboration with the Archdiocese. Also present were the technical leaders of Amiu with the director Antonello Antonicelli in the company of environmentalists Vincenzo Rizzi, Maurizio Marrese and Antonio Dembech.

Through targeted activities, adults and children “reviewed” the rules of good glass differentiation, learning to recognize what should be placed in the green bells and what, on the contrary, despite looking like glass, should be differentiated elsewhere.

Indeed, many associations participated: So’Bellicos, Birilà, Cicloamici Foggia Fiab, Gocce Di Pensiero and Foggia Running. Guest of honor Vincenzo Patoseno, an influencer from Foggia known for his ability to balance objects on his head.

La Via della Felicità Foggia has also decided to participate, having been active for more than 3 years with urban redevelopment and waste collection interventions in the city’s green areas.

Marina Biancardino, head of La Via della Felicità, wanted to remember the words of the humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, author of the common sense guide of the same name, from which the association takes its inspiration “There are many things that people can do to help to take care of the planet. It starts with personal commitment. He goes on to suggest that others do the same. Man has achieved the potential ability to destroy the planet. Now he must be brought to the point of being able to save him and take action to do so. It is, after all, where we live.”

As part of the project, as you will remember, 180 glass bells were installed, bringing those present throughout the city to around 360.
