POMEZIA – Pomezia continues to be a fertile artistic centre. In fact, on Sunday 9 June, the collective exhibition of the students of Lucia Ceccariniat the Nuova Lavinium neighborhood committee.

A year of art on display: figurative works of all kinds, faces, landscapes, views with different techniques such as acrylics, chalks, but above all watercolours.

At the center of the location were some papier-mâché peacocks, decorated with colored paper and designed by Ceccarini, which enchanted visitors.

Lucia began her artistic journey by pure chance, following prof. Salvatore Maria Fortuna sculptor and painter, then he taught in the premises ofTyrrhenum Association for four years. Later the meeting with the theater company “Sorry for the delay”, who wanted her as a set designer for over ten years. She was a real apprentice, but always lived with enthusiasm. You also created some murals in Pratica di mare. She currently follows numerous artists who want her as their teacher due to her skill, seriousness and great humanity.

“I played – says Lucia – with colours, brushes and all other materials. The artist must be able to express himself freely and curiosity, sociability, living in the midst of creativity are fundamental. Art is a continuous life lesson and represents the way in which you relate to reality; It’s engaging, but it still has to be a friendly encounter. I don’t want to prove anything to anyone; for me life has a positive meaning and art is a rewarding growth path.”

The artists who exhibited are: Alessandra Baroni, Anna Maria Filippini, Amedea Giovannelli, Rina Lazzari, Francesco Marchese, Maria Grazia Nicoletti, Luigina Quadrini And Luigi Vita.
