The bulletin explains: “For Monday 24 June, persistent and abundant rain is expected in the regional territory; in the first part of the day the rains will be associated with thunderstorms, even of strong intensity, with possible associated effects and damage, more likely in the central-eastern sector and the Apennine areas.
Widespread phenomena of runoff, landslides on fragile slopes and rapid increases in hydrometric levels in watercourses are possible in correspondence with heavy rainfall, with possible occupation of the expansion zones of mountain watercourses in the central sector of the region.
Limited phenomena of erosion of the shoreline due to the rise of the wave motion, which could reach 2m in height, cannot be ruled out”.
