Fano23 June 2024 – On Saturday 22 June 2024, at Lake Armandino in the locality of Cannelle Ponte Murello in Fano (PU), a morra tournament was held in pairs with a draw for the pairs.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of many players and concluded with a community dinner.
What is Morra?
Morra is an ancient popular game that dates back to Roman times, very widespread in various regions of Italy and the Mediterranean. It is played in pairs and requires quick reflexes and mental calculation skills.
Players simultaneously show a number of fingers and shout out the total sum of fingers shown by both. Whoever guesses the correct amount wins the round.
