More blood along the roads of the province of Padua, two people have died following two dramatic accidents that occurred this night. This is a man who lost his life on the road on the border between the municipalities of Campolongo Maggiore and Piove di Sacco. The circumstances of the accident that caused the man’s death are not yet known. In Maserà, however, the one who lost her life was a girl aged only 19, originally from Sant’Elena, in the Lower Padua area.
The girl died following the serious injuries sustained in the car accident which occurred last night at 2.30 am. The timely measures were of no avail
attempts to resuscitate her by the Suem 118 medics who rushed to the scene of the tragedy together with the carabinieri of the Abano Company and the firefighters.
According to initial findings, the accident was caused by a risky maneuver. A Fiat Punto with a nineteen-year-old from Sant’Elene, CS at the wheel collided
and an Opel Mokka driven by a 63-year-old PM man from Milan. The impact was devastating and there was nothing that could be done for the girl. The saints tried for a long time
to resuscitate her, then they could not help but confirm that she had died. Traffic was slowed down for several hours. The entire area has been cordoned off
by the police to allow operators to work in complete safety. In the meantime, the driver of the Mokka was transported to hospital for treatment
to all the appropriate clinical investigations necessary to evaluate the psychophysical state at the time of the impact. He risks ending up on the register of suspects on charges of
road homicide. Tonight’s accident is yet another road accident with dramatic outcomes that occurs along the streets of the Padua area.
