Conti has taken up the legacy of Amadeus, who after five years of artistic direction moved to Nove, abandoning Rai. So far Conti has remained particularly tight-lipped about the details of the next Festival, explaining only that he doesn’t want to “throw away” the work done so far by Amadeus. And then Conti reported the division of the categories in the competition, with the “Big” singers separated from the “New proposals”. For young people then, the winner should be announced during the covers evening. And there should be no eliminations, because according to Conti “it would be anachronistic”.
