5 banks, 64,000 cooperative members, over 230 branches and 1580 employees, a total collection of 9,561 million euros and net loans of 4,697 million euros, a banking product of 14,258 million euros, with assets of approximately 800 million euros and a CET1 of 33.21%. These are some of the numbers that characterize and represent the Federation of Community Banks of Campania and Calabria with results at the end of this three-year period that go well beyond expectations. The work of the three-year period was important also because with the cooperative credit reform the role of the federations appeared reduced.
“We managed to relaunch the federation’s action with a strong restart action enhancing identity, cooperation, innovation and efficiency. Today it is an important point of reference for the mutual banks of the two regions that have merged. In the next three years we will have a great objective to achieve thanks to the support of the 15 associated banks, the members and thanks to the vision that today allows us to have this important study on cooperative credit in Southern Italy carried out by Svimez. Feeling so strongly the closeness of the cooperative credit leaders and the institutions in such a symbolic place allows us to have a vision of our role as an increasingly important point of reference for cooperative credit and for the growth of the country. A south that works and innovates, guarantees development and growth.
