The Monza Live Sound Festival is back: this year with even more evenings, more bands, more music, both in the center and in the neighborhoods.

After the success of the first edition last summer, the stage for amateur and emerging bands returns to fill the summer evenings in Monza with music.
A total of 328 bands responded to the call to action published in recent weeks on the Municipality’s digital and social channels. There were many responses not only from Monza and its province, but also from all over Italy. “This data confirms the great passion that revolves around live music, the pleasure of listening to it and having it listened to, but also of experiencing the city on summer evenings”, said the Councilor for Culture Arianna Bettin.
The calendar of appointments
This year there will be six events in the center and in the neighbourhoods, starting from the opening evening on Sunday 23 June at 9pm in Piazza Roma. He will be a guest Loris Fabiani«Lunanzio», theater actor, director and comedian: winner of the first edition of «Lol Talent Show» and juror at the latest edition of the successful television format «Lol Who Rides is Outside».
During the evening, the new selected groups will be presented, who will perform for five consecutive Fridays, in the presence of the artists who experienced the emotions of the Festival in the first edition of 2023. «Before Bacon Burns», «Headroom» and «The Orange Cave».
Music in the square and in the neighborhoods
The first appointment will be on Friday 28 June at the Spazio Rosmini in via Rosmini, 72 in the San Rocco district, with rock sounds: from blues to folk to jazz. The Festival will come to life in the center of Monza starting from Friday 5 July: this year there will be four musical corners with even more music starting from 6pm and throughout the evening.
The bands will take turns performing in rotation in Piazza Roma with the spectacular Arengario backdrop, then in Piazza San Pietro Martire and in two other special spaces, new for the 2024 edition: Piazza Duomo and Piazza San Paolo. Appointments in the center are scheduled for Friday 5, 12 and 19 July. Finally, the fifth and final evening of live music, on 26 July, will return to the Libertà Civic Center – LibertHub in viale Libertà 144.
