From today, a great youth event is taking place on the courts of the Viserba Tennis Club, a stage of the Emilia Romagna Junior Tour Under 10-12-14 circuit, for men and women. Overall there are 139 players at the start in the six scheduled draws, of which 25 only at Under 10 level. In the women’s Under 12, n.1 Ioana Bala, n.2 Virginia Arduini, n.3 Petra Salvi, n.4 Anita Amadio. In the men’s Under 12 we start with the first draw in which the seedings went in order to Leo Mazzarini, Francesco Zanzini, Alessandro Marcolini, Riccardo Piraccini and Giacomo Balzani. In the final draw, seeded in order are Filippo Terenzi, Riccardo Briganti, Mattia Vincenzi and Noè Baldini.

First draw, 1st round: Diego Barchi-Francesco Falzoni 6-2, 6-1. 2nd round: Nicolò Orazi-Raffaele Palma 5-7, 7-6, 10-6, Cesare Manieri-Lorenzo Bonantini 6-1, 6-0, Erik Zani-Leone Lazzara 6-4, 6-4.

In the men’s Under 14 (43 registered) first draw with these seeds, in order Leonardo Tana, Nicolò Brugioni, Achille Mari, Elia Sabatini, Massimo Marcolini, Alex Andrea Ravara, Tommaso Mandelli and Gabriele Quaresima.

Second round: Adam Aluigi El Attar-Federico Sanchi 6-1, 6-1.

The big names in the main draw are certainly the 3.2 Pietro Tombari, Lorenzo Vito Farinato, Mattia Pettenati and the 3.4 Ian Catallo, Michele Tonti, Jacopo Andruccioli and Federico Attanasio. In the Under 14 women’s tournament, the first draw is with these seeds: n.1 Sveva Penna, Viola Cuppini, Ginevra Baldazzi and Vittoria Muratori. In the main draw n.1 Gioia Angeli, n.2 Lisa Pierini, n.3 Bianca Solazzi, n.4 Lucrezia Cavalieri.
