A deplorable episode and one to be condemned. There are no other words for what was suffered by the mayor of Crotone Voce, the target of a series of invectives rained down through TikTok. The reply from the Pythagorean municipal council was not long in coming. «In expressing solidarity and closeness to our mayor for the insults and threats received via social media», we read in a joint note from the Crotone councilors, «which we condemn without reservations in light of this latest episode, we believe some further considerations are appropriate.
