Thank you. – he says and then adds – Fials points out to Lorsignori that what is promised must be kept and in this regard we note the following: the oncology center was transferred to Noa using reasons which in our opinion are untrue, in fact, regarding the presence of the resuscitator in the structure to guarantee the safety of patients, after having consulted the doctors it appears that they have never carried out urgent interventions in the oncology therapeutic center of Carrara and the deputy mayor knows this very well given that she was its coordinator; the sterilization center was closed and therefore the service was arranged with private individuals at Noa; the orthopedics clinic was closed as traditional radiology; the ostomy clinic was moved to via Bassa Tambura in Massa, which shouldn’t have closed because it wasn’t up to standard? – Fials asks again ironically – the diabetic foot clinic has been transferred to Noa and intermediate care goes to Fossone. As you can see – the union reiterates even more ironically – everything is maintained as per people’s word. Did the control room realize the expenses incurred to create useless things such as the installation of containers? – the union acronym contests – we think and are almost certain that with those sums spent the whole of Monterosso would have been renovated”.
Fials continues to insist: “Have the members of the control room gone to see the containers where they put the remaining services? It’s shameful and we wonder how public money can be spent on things that will then be demolished after a couple of years, thus resulting in an unnecessary increase in spending. But what do the institutions that have to control do?”.
Fials reports: “In our opinion there are unclear things in all this. Carrara and local healthcare cannot be managed like this. Healthcare was a national point of reference that we all envied and it is being destroyed. Perhaps the reason why the mayor excluded us from the table is because of the uncomfortable and precise questions that she doesn’t want to answer and because of the fear of a free voice with knowledge about the world of healthcare”.
