Salerno
The first meeting in Campania on participatory security and Osint was held on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June in Salerno. The topic was addressed in the small parliament room of the historic Chamber of Commerce headquarters of Salerno.
Promoted by the Observatory on security and defense CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Exposures), a center that deals with security risks and by Giancarlo D’Amore, member of the WAD, World Detective Association INC, president of the Campania Federpol Region, as well as private investigator from Salerno and owner of “La Segretissima Investigazioni”, an investigative agency that has been operating for 70 years.
The seminar brought together public and private entities called to deal with security on a daily basis, sparking a series of satisfying debates with great participation from the authorities, law enforcement agencies and private categories that revolve around the sector.
In a room of the Parlamentino packed with participants, the legal and operational aspects, the difficulties and the strengths of a defined asset now essential for the qualification of the territory in all aspects, Security in its various declinations, up to to the contribution that correct use of freely accessible sources can make, a practice well identified by the acronym OSINT.
“The quality and level resulting from the debate – declares the president of Federpol Campania Region Giancarlo D’Amore – leaves room for other initiatives also in the statistical world of observation of the phenomenon of Participatory Security in the territory always in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno whom I thank for their openness and collaboration”.
